For the last three years I have had the privilege of being Assistant Director of Salvation Army Addiction Services based in Christchurch and responsible for Clinical oversight. I have Post Graduate training in Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Psychotherapy and Advanced Psychotherapy endorsed in Psychodynamic Approaches. I utilise a broad range of therapeutic approaches and believe that it is essential to be flexible, compassionate and pragmatic in both Supervisory and Therapeutic relationships. I receive regular Supervision myself and also believe that it is essential to undertake one’s own personal work to effectively work with others.
I am also currently working in Private Practice based at The Arahura Centre located at 406 Barrington Street. I am available for both Supervision and Therapeutic work. I would welcome your enquiries.
